If you’re ready to hibernate inside a cozy yarn hug and not come out until the first sign of spring, this crochet hoodie is for you!
You’ll magically create sherpa-style fabric using only simple stitches and furry yarn. Don’t let the yarn fluff intimidate you though--feeling for your stitches will become second nature and you’ll appreciate the speed at which this project comes together.
With notes on adjusting the length and the option for a split mock turtleneck collar or an oversized hood, you’ll find many ways to make the Sherpa Hoodie your own.
This downloadable PDF is formatted for easy printing and includes a written pattern and detailed photo tutorial. The photos are separate from the written pattern, so you can choose to print them or conserve ink.
Pattern is written in the following sizes:
Size // Fits Actual Bust
XS/S // 28 - 34”
M/L // 34 - 44”

The sample pictured was crocheted with Lion Brand Go for Fleece, which is a category 7 yarn. (Find alternatives at YarnSub.com.) You'll also need 20-30 grams of a coordinating worsted weight yarn for the sleeve cuffs.
The skills required for this pattern are quite simple and include single crochet, decreasing and half double crochet. We call this an intermediate level pattern simply because the furry yarn takes a little getting used to.
You are going to LOVE cozying up in this crochet hoodie!
